The Hacking Sugar

We 'hacked' the sugar os using terminal and we had sticked the new looking shapes of puting icons on the screed. Also we made new icons for the sugar and also sticked them on the desktop of our computers. The images are comeing soon

Joe Stanley

Joe Stanley is a computer engenier studying in the university of adelaide. He presentged to our class about the XO copmputers. He`s favourite os is in fact linux. He even 'baked' the xo mashines, which mean that he heated them to the temperature of 36 degre.

East Timor

East Timor is Portuguese colony. It was Indonesian colony in 1975. The most important thing there is port. In East Timor people speak portugese. There is one beach with white sand. People of East Timor are called Malay. There come many missionarys. Because of this that this countru is clearly new country there is not much schooling. Children don`t go to school. Children work in that time. There is payed in US dollars, most of people use scoters as there is not much cars or pablic transport. No librarys. Slowly developing government. There is phones and very low internet access. There came new project XO. Many kids are intrested in flying as piloting. There is none OH&S protection. Some of the children sing and many women learn how to cook in clean kitchens.

SUGAR; Impressive?

My first impression about this operating system was that like it was made for kids... Also sometimes it is hard to operate because to see what an icon actually do you have to move your mouse over this icon and wait, (To LONG). I didn't have connection and I didn't see all the things that SUGAR can do but I think it won't get to use for some time. Specially that it's Linux and now whole world is on Windows...
